Since it became apparent that Healthcare.gov was riddled with problems, the Obama administration has been emphasizing the use of a paper application to apply for insurance.
Recently, though, the administration has started de-emphasizing the paper applications because of concerns that they might not be processed in time to meet January coverage deadlines.
Today, Healthcare.gov’s downloadable application at has been removed. Searching for “paper application” on the site currently returns this result:
